What is TESOLmax?
TESOLmax is a category-specific list of web sites and pages related to teaching English as a foreign or second language (TEFL/TESL), at home or overseas, with a specific focus on the job itself, first finding it and then doing it.

What makes TESOLmax different from other link sites?
TESOLmax is highly focussed. We link to sites that offer information and orientation to TESL/TEFL job seekers. Other link sites with broader mandates already exist, and if you're looking for general travel information, you'll be better off with them than with us. But if you're looking for a job teaching English, this is the place for you. Sites are pre-screened to ensure they qualify as ESL/EFL resources. No more surfing from site-to-site after using a generic search engine. Let TESOLmax do the work for you.

Does it cost anything?
Nope. TESOLmax is free for users and webmasters. Surf the links or list your site - no charge!

How does TESOLmax rank web sites?
Ranking is based on the number of unique visitors a site sends to TESOLmax. Once a webmaster creates an account, they receive special code to place on their site, in addition to an optional TESOLmax ranking button. Every time a new user clicks through to TESOLmax via that link, they receive credit on our site. The more unique visitors a site sends to TESOLmax, the higher their ranking will be.

Can I add my site?
If you host a job board with some (preferably most/all) ESL/EFL job postings listed on it and/or provide other information or resources related to job searching for overseas teaching positions, the answer is yes! Click the "Join" link under Menu on the sidebar and fill in the required blanks. If you have a banner you would like us to link to, give us the URL and we will include it in your site's profile.

Why should I join?
Two reasons. First and foremost, to drive traffic to your site. You should receive more traffic from TESOLmax then you send to it, though there are no guarantees. Second, to help us build a resource for ESL/EFL job seekers, a one-stop link portal facilitating access to thousands of teaching jobs worldwide.

I signed up but my site isn't listed. Why not?
After joining, your site goes into a queue. Before appearing on TESOLmax, all sites need to be approved. See TESOLmax's Terms and Conditions for details.

I've been approved and I know I'm sending visitors to TESOLmax but I don't seem to be getting credit for them. Why not?
Check your link(s) to our site. If your links do not include your unique ID number at the end of the URL, you won't get credit for the traffic you are sending to TESOLmax.

I'm not happy with the number visits I am receiving from TESOLmax. What can I do?
You've got two options: 1) bail out or; 2) bear down. If you choose to bail out, it's not a problem. You can quit any time by emailing us at admin@tesolmax.com. Your site will be removed within 24 hours of receiving your request. If you'd prefer to bear down, try increasing the exposure of the TESOLmax link(s) on your site. The more traffic you send to TESOLmax, the higher your rank will be. The higher your rank, the more exposure you get. That exposure should translate into more and more visits.

I like TESOLmax and would like to further increase my exposure. Can I advertise on your site?
